Christmas week:)

We have had a wonderful Christmas week with Joshua's parents visiting us(see post below this one to see pics of them) and an amazing Christmas.

First off Melissa came and visited with her girls from Thatcher. Emily, me and Melissa and our girls(how fun that we all have girls) went to lunch at Chick fila so that the kids could play and we could chat:). It was so much fun chatting and brought back great memories when we were roommates.

On Monday night we had a Christmas at our neighbors and exchanged gifts with their daughter Briana. The girls had so much fun opening up gifts.

On Christmas eve we went to Macayos for dinner with my grandparents and my siblings and parents. It was so much fun and that's a tradition we started about 5 years ago. Then we went to my parents and opened up gifts from my grandparents and the girls opened up their pajamas. Did you get pj's for Christmas eve:). I always did and that way when you wake up on Christmas Day you have new jammies for Christmas and for the pictures. So Brooklyn woke up Christmas morning and her new Yo Gabba Gabba jammies were wet. I was like oh no...of course her diapers never leak and some mornings she is dry but oh no since it was Chrismas morning her diaper leaked and so we had to put on another pair of Pajamas.

Our Christmas was amazing! It consisted of lots of fun Yo Gabba Gabba toys and Hannah Montana. Santa sure knew what the girls wanted this year:). Mariyah also got roller skates which she loves and Brooklyn got a bike.

We hope each of you have a wonderful Christmas and for those of you who sent us Christmas cards thank you. We loved receiving the fun pictures of your family and we hope you have a Happy New Year!!!!!!!

After writing my "Novel" I decided to do a slide show:)

Santa came to our house:)
Joshua's dad and Teresa(Grandpa & Grandma) have been here for a week from Utah. The girls have had tons of fun while they have been here and we have enjoyed them coming. Well tonight Joshua's dad dressed up as Santa. He came to the door shaking the bells and saying hohoho and then Mariyah opened the door and their was santa. Santa had lots of gifts for the girls and for the Parents:). The experience was priceless and so sweet. Brooklyn cracked us up because she kept on starring at Santa like wait a minute what are you doing here. It was really cute.
While they were here we went to see the Temple lights, went to the Museum, out to lunch and dinner, played at the hotel and also went swimming in the pool that was outdoors. Only in Arizona can you go swimming outside in the winter in December:).

Darren & Tami's Wedding

My brother Darren and Tami were married on Saturday and it was such a wonderful day. I love my brother so much and I am so happy that Tami is a part of our family. She is so sweet and I am so grateful that the weather was so nice on their wedding day because the day was so perfect.

All of our extended family from California came and it was so neat to have all of us together. It was so neat to have my grandparents from Utah come and also my cousins and their adorable little girl.

The whole weekend was incredible and the reception was a blast. I can't even begin to express what an incredible weekend it was. I didn't want it to end because it was so wonderful.

Me being the crazy girl that I am with pictures ended up taking 300 pictures between the Temple, Luncheon and reception....hmmm I wonder if I took more that the photographer...lol:).
Enjoy the pictures and don't worry I didn't post all of them:).

Thanksgiving Weekend:)
My heart is full this day with the incredible weekend that our family had. We were so blessed to have ALL of my mom's side of the family here for Thanksgiving from California and we had such an amazing time together. I feel so grateful to have such an incredible extended family that are so dear to me. I am so grateful that they were able to come and we were able to spend some quality family time together. I put together a slide show that will show all the fun we had.

I also wanted to say how thankful I am for all of my wonderful FRIENDS. I was looking back at scrapbooks that I have put together and it brought back so many memories of all of us. We really have a unique friendship and we really did have the time of our lives! I am excited to see all of you at the Christmas party on the 6th.

Thank you to all my Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Grandparents for being in Arizona for Thanksgiving, the wedding and for love the that you show to our family. We love each one of you so much and are thankful for Eternal Families.

My brother was married last night and it was such a beautiful day and I am so happy for them. I will post those pictures later on this week.

This weekend I will cherish FOREVER and didn't want it to end. It was so amazing and such a beautiful weekend.

Enjoy the slide show:)

A DAY ON THE FARM
OUR PLAYGROUP THIS WEEK WAS GOING TO THE FARM AND THE GIRLS HAD TONS OF FUN. WE RODE ON A HAYRIDE, SAW THE COWS, THE GIRLS HELD CHICKENS, WE ATE ICE CREAM AND IT WAS SUCH A NEAT EXPERIENCE FOR ALL OF US.

How would you like to deliver a baby this big. Ya that's right when we went to the farm this calf was only 6 hours old. Cute Huh?

Mariyah's School Picture
So I know many of you have asked about how Mariyah was able to go to kindergarten before she was 5 since her birthday is in October and the cut off date is that by August 31st you must be 5. Well crismon Elementary has this amazing program for those children who turn 5 after August 31st. She goes to pre-kindergarten half day Mon-Fri and she LOVES it.
Her teacher has taught Kindergarten for 30 years and retired and came back to teach pre-kindergarten. She is an incredible teacher and Mariyah is learning sooo much. So she really is in kindergarten but they have to call it pre-kindergarten and next year she will go to ALL DAY kindergarten. What is so neat is that Mariyah's teacher taught my siblings when they were in kindergarten. I think her school pictures turned out very cute. Although Mariyah has her hyper side she is really sweet and a great sister to Brooklyn.

Beautiful Roses/Girls
When Joshua came home from work this past week he walked in the door with a dozen rose. They are so beautiful & what a sweet and thoughtful husband:).

After church Joshua took a picture of the girls and I and then Ry had fun taking pictures with the camera. I was trying to get a picture of me and Mariyah...maybe another time. I wouldn't usually post a picture of myself but Mariyah really wanted a picture of just me. So I said to Ry ok you can take a quick picture of me and she said NO mom you need to tilt your head a little and then I will take the picture. I think she did a pretty good job considering she just took one picture of me. Maybe she wants to be a photographer when she gets older:).

TRICK OR TREATING/CARNIVAL
Our ward had their annual trunk or treat/carnival with games and great food. We had lots of fun and Mariyah even got her face painted. Mariyah was Hannah Montana but since it was so dang hot on halloween night she didn't want to keep her whole costume on. I was able to take some pictures before we left and she looked good! Brooklyn was a lady bug and let me just tell you that she cracked us up. I figured she would be really hot since it was at least 90 degrees out but she wanted it on the whole night. She went around and would say I'm a bug:). It was really cute and the girls had so much fun together and they got lots of candy. Their cousin Carter was tiger and they had fun trick or treating together. The last picture is of my brother Darren and his fiance Tami. They are getting married on November 29th and we are so EXCITED for them.
