Congrats to my Dad & Darren & Tami on Graduating!!!

If was a very eventful weekend with my brother, his wife and my dad graduating this weekend. Darren & Tami graduated from MCC on Friday evening and my brother is going to
ASU in the fall.

My Dad Graduated with his Master's Degree from ASU in 1 YEAR. He graduated many years ago from BYU but wanted to go back to school to get his Master's and he did it!!!! My dad is amazing and he has studied and studied and studied and it has finally paid off by graduating on Saturday. We also went to the commencement on Wednesday night at the ASU stadium where President Obama spoke. Although I am not all about Obama when they announced the President of the United States Barack Obama is going to speak it was pretty amazing. It was a really neat experience to be their and it has been such a wonderful weekend filled with family and friends. It was also really fun because I saw Brian & Lanae at ASU because Brian graduated....congrats!!!!
We love you dad and are so thankful for this great accomplishment.

Cousins Visit/Mother's Day
Joshua's cousin Nick and his wife Tasha and their adorable son Carter came and visited us. We had so much fun hanging out with them and the girls loved playing with their son Carter. The girls thought it was pretty cool because my sister's boy's name is Carter which the girls adore their cousin carter and now they have a 2nd cousin named Carter on Joshua's side of the family:)

Friday night we went to Dave n Busters and had dinner and enjoyed all the fun games.

On Saturday we went to Tempe Town Lake and the kids had so much fun at the water park splashing around and having a great time. That evening we had a barbecue at my parents house and everyone had a great time.

Joshua & his Cousin Nick. Joshua didn't bring a hat so he used a towel instead.

I am thankful for the blessing of being a mother to 2 beautiful girls that are happy, healthy and enjoy life. Our girls are busy girls that love to play, help me cook in the kitchen, go shopping with me and most of all I love when they come up to me and give me a big hug and kiss and say I love you mom. That means so much to me because their are days that I want to pull my hair out but hearing those words makes me realize as a parent that it's the little things that your kids do in life that bring so much joy and happiness into my life.
I am so THANKFUL for my Mother and what an amazing mother and best friend she is to me. My mother is so loving, caring, thoughtful, a friend that I can always talk to about anything and I am so thankful for all that she has taught me in my life about being a mother. My mom is so patient and I thank her for the patience in raising me because I was quite a handful to raise:). I am thankful for what a wonderful Grandma my mom is and I am thankful that she lives near and that the girls see their grandma often and have the blessing of spending time with their grandma.

My Mom and me:)

This is me when I was 2 1/2 years old.
When I saw this picture of me it reminded me of Mariyah & Brooklyn

Target Nachos....
I was at target today and the girls wanted to eat so I thought ok I will get them some nachos and a slush(I know what a healthy meal) so that way they could eat while I shopped:).
I am in line and the guy says can I help you and I said yes can I get 2 nachos and 2 slushes? He said yes would you like CHEESE WITH THOSE NACHOS......I was a bit confused for a moment and said don't nachos come with cheese....he then said oh ya they do. I had a good laugh and the girls loved their nachos with cheese and if you ever know of any nachos without cheese let me know....lol!!!!!! I think that would be called chips:)

*No this isn't the actual picture of the nachos but you get the idea* Funny!
