GO CARDINALS!
As most of you know the Arizona Cardinals are going to the Super Bowl!!! We are so excited to watch the game on Sunday...GO CARDINALS!!!!!!!!!!!! Mariyah came home from school today and right away she took the picture that she colored at school today out of her back pack and it was of the Cardinals Mascot. She got tape and stuck it on the front door. It cracks me up because she is so excited for Sunday and I love how the cardinal has a blue arm. In fact I am surprised he's not all blue since it's Mariyah's favorite color.

6 inches!!!
Mariyah's hair has always been really long and so we finally cut it. We went to Lollilocks to get her hair cut. Lollillocks is such a fun place for kids to get their hair cut. They had a play area for Brooklyn to play in while Ry got her hair cut and they even had a movie to watch. They had lollipops for the kids and Mariyah loved getting pampered. She really loved getting her hair washed. I liked her hair really long but everyday when I would brush it she would get mad at me and not want me to brush it! I figured it was time to cut it that way it would be much healthier and I absolutly love it! Here is the before and after.
Now some of you might think oh her hair is still long but for us it seems short considering her hair was really long.

Brooklyn's Birthday Party.
We had a fun 2nd birthday party for Brooklyn at the park. The kids had so much fun running around and playing on the toys. We had a pizza party and everyone enjoyed eating and having cake and ice cream. I made cup cakes for the kids and her party was lots of fun. Thank you for all of you who were able to come celebrate Brookie's birthday and for the wonderful gifts. She is having so much fun playing with her new toys. She loves cats so we bought her a Fur-Real Cat. Have you ever seen them? They look real....feel real...meow...walk....and sleep. It's seriously a little bit freaky because it's look so real....I guess that's why they call it fur-real.

Friends who came to the party. A few aren't in the picture because they had to leave early.

BROOKLYN IS 2 TODAY!!
It's crazy to think that Brooklyn is really 2!!! We went last week and got her pictures taken and she was seriously ALL smiles and so precious the whole time. Even the gal who was taking the pictures was amazed by Brooklyn and how she would pose for the picture and smile.
We are having her birthday party today, but I wanted to post these beautiful pictures of her:).

Zoo Lights
On New Year's Eve we went and saw the Zoo lights. The girls had so much fun and the best part is that they have a talking giraffe named Jenga. The giraffe looks totally real and the mouth moves and it answers questions and talks to your kids. Well they have a guy that you can go up to and ask him to tell the giraffe to say your kids names. So next thing you know the giraffe is saying Hi Mariyah, Brooklyn and Carter. The kids were all looking around and when they realized it was the giraffe they were totally amazed!!! It was so cute and we had a wonderful time. The girls enjoyed the Carousel and all the beautiful lights.

Happy 6th Anniversary!!!
Joshua and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary and we had such a wonderful day. The past 5 anniversary's we have always gone away for the weekend, but this year we spent the day around town but it was so eventful and so much fun spending quality time with each other. It has been such an incredible day!!!
My parents watched the girls all day for us and we greatly appreciate it. We went out to Brunch, then ice skating, Ikea, the movies to see Seven Pounds(you must see it), went and shopped around the mall and went out to dinner in Scottsdale:).

Ice skating...when I look back at the pictures I wish my camera case wasn't sticking out of my pocket. Then again I am glad that my camera was protected....I NEVER fell on my own but this girl was ice skating the wrong way and totally skated right into me and I fell on my butt and my camera fell out and thankfully it was protected by my camera case.

Awww.....skating together:).

What a trooper of a husband going ice skating. This was his first time ice skating and he did great and never fell.

I wish I could blame this one on Ice Skating because it would sound like a better story than what really happened. Ok so as we were leaving the skating rink and getting into my car( that I have had for 2 years now)....I opened the car door and next thing I knew I had just about blacked out and my nose was bleeding. Yup I pretty much opened my door and the edge of the car door hit me so hard and my nose was bleeding and my eyes were watering. I guess I need to pay attention more:).

Wonderful Place to eat:)

For our Anniversary they brought us out an edible card to eat.
