NERD ALERT!
Mariyah and Brooklyn were playing in their room together and when Mariyah came out of the room I went to check on Brooklyn and this is what I found. My sweet little nerd who just turned one was enjoying eating candy:) Here I thought the girls were playing and instead they were eating the bag of candy. Not to mention that Brooklyn had bite all the boxes of Nerds and made a big MESS!!! Ahh I really hate messes, but it was nice that the girls were spending some quality time "playing" together.

Brooklyn's 1st birthday Party!
We celebrated Brooklyn's birthday at CiCi's Pizza. We had lots of fun and the kids enjoyed eating pizza and playing games. Brooklyn had fun making a mess with the cake and Mariyah enjoyed opening up Brooklyn's presents. Brooklyn didn't mind but once she saw that their were toys once the gifts were opened then she wanted to tear the wrapping paper and see what else was inside.

Brooklyn is 1 year old today!


It amazes me that Brooklyn was born on January 17th 2007 and she is now a year old. She weighed 9lbs. 12oz. and has continued to grow so tall! I was thinking of this past year and what a blessing she has been and a wonderful addition to our family.

Brooklyn loves babies and we were amazed when she would see a real baby or a dolly
and say baby
She loves to point and gets exicted when she wants a toy that is her sisters.
She LOVES my phone and I swear that if that was her only toy she
would be happy with my phone....yet we continue to buy her toys:)
Brooklyn has been such a great sleeper and she now goes to bed at 8 and wakes up
between 7 and 8...she's LOVES her sleep and we do too:) When she wakes up she is so
happy and ready to start her day.
Brooklyn LOVES to take baths and she loves taking a shower with her sister.
She is a very determined little girl and she is a very happy little girl too.
She walks all over the place and loves to climb up the slide on the playground.
Of course she does the normal stuff like undo the roll of toilet paper, pull her
sister's hair and then smile and get exicted.
We have taught her a few sign language signs like more and all done. That way if
she is eating and she wants more it is easier for her to communicate through sign
language and then when she is all done she signs that as well.
There is nothing more precious than to see Mariyah and Brooklyn give hugs and
kisses. We are so thankful that they are sisters and we love our daughters so much.

GONE FISHING
For Mariyah's birthday Joshua's mom who lives in Alaska bought her a fishing pole. We finally went out and went "fishing" with the girls. We didn' catch anything, but it was a fun experience for Mariyah. The girls mainly wanted to play on the playground, but it was great to get out and enjoy the nice weather we are having here. As most of you know I am not a fishing kind of girl even though I have been fishing in Alaska a few times. I was pretty exicted that Mariyah didn't catch any fish:{

Our 5 year Annivesary
We celebrated our 5 year annivesary at the Pointe of tapitoa. We had a wonderful time and the views were amazing and we had a fun time and even ordered room service and had dinner delivered to our suite. Our annvisary was on January 3rd and we stayed at the resort on the 4th...I have been posting lots of pictures and I am just now getting around to posting these.

Our family went to Macayo's and it was so much fun to be together as family and of course we had a great time eating Mexican food. Not to mention the fact that you all know that I LOVE chips and salsa...these aren't quite like Chevys chips, but they were still good:)

Chuck E Cheese on New Year's Day!
Our family went to chuck e cheese and the girls had so much fun. They totally remolded it and it has so many fun rides and new games. My parents and brother's and sister and my grandparents were there too. We had a great New Years and enjoy the pictures.
