VACATION

During Spring Break we went on a family vacation to St. George Utah. We had so much fun seeing lots of family and being their for Peyton's blessing. Joshua's Dad, Teresa and his sister Amanda came to St. George and were were able to spend time with them. The girls loved seeing Aunt Amanda and their grandparents:).

On Saturday we went to breakfast in the morning at McDonalds and met Grandma & Grandpa and Aunt Amanda. The girls loved playing and Saturday was a day full of lots of fun.

Joshua's Dad and Teresa are very artistic and they painted this mural
for the McDonalds in St. George

After breakfast we headed to Snow Canyon and enjoyed climbing the rocks and the girls had no fear. They were going up and down the mountain and had fun exploring the area.

Since Joshua's Dad and Teresa aren't able to be here for holidays with the girls we celebrated 3 holidays in one day. The first holiday we celebrated was Christmas:)
The girls loved opening up presents.

The girls were COLD

It started to rain and hail so Aunt Amanda made the girls a fort under the table

Since we got hailed on at Snow Canyon we ended up going to Teresa's brother's
house to celebrate more holidays.
The girls loved the Easter Egg Hunt.

The girls with Grandma

The girls had so much fun in their halloween costumes and loved going trick or treating:).

We were so happy that we were able to be in Utah for the blessing of sweet baby Peyton. She is such a beautiful baby and we love our cousins so much. Were excited to come see you again sometime hopefully soon. Nick and Tasha were so sweet and we were so grateful that we were able to stay in their home. The girls loved playing with their son Carter and staying in his room. Thank you so much for everything and were so happy that we were able to see you and stay up late talking and eating ice cream:).

Tasha & me and baby Peyton. Her blessing dress is gorgeous.

Baby Peyton is so precious.
I made her a baby tutu, bracelet and flower:)

On our way home from St George we stopped in Vegas so the girls could see the hotels,
dancing waters and we ate dinner in Vegas.

Grandma's Funeral Day

March 1st was the day of my beautiful Grandmother's funeral. TONS of pictures were taken and as I was debating on whether or not to post some of the pics I decided to. As I was looking at the pictures and I saw the picture of all of family it brought tears of joy to me.

It made me think about the decision my grandparents made to be married for all Eternity in the Temple 53 years ago and that they raised 4 beautiful children and they had children etc. I am so grateful for such amazing grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and I am so thankful that EVERYONE on the Fletcher side of the family was there except my cousin serving a mission in chili.

I know my grandma would be so happy that all of us were there for her special day and that as hard as it was to have her pass away she lives within each of us family members. My grandma loved life, lived beauty, loved family and most of all loved living the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

It all began with my grandparents:)

Grandma's Fun Visit

Joshua's mom flew in from Alaska last week and she was with us the whole week. The girls loved having grandma here and she spoiled all of us. We went shopping, made tutu's for the girls and enjoyed spending time together.

Thank you so much for coming to see us and the girls loved having their grandma here. They always call Joshua's mom Grandma in Alaska even when she's visiting us. That's the title they gave her since she lives there. We are so excited to come visit them in the summer and the girls are so excited to meet their baby cousin Amade and spend time in the beautiful state of Alaska.

We love you and thank you for visiting us ans thank you for EVERYTHING.

Memories of my Beautiful Gorgeous Grandma

My Grandma Fletcher passed away on Monday February 22nd. She just celebrated her 73rd birthday on February 12th. My grandma has had Parkinson's the past few years and the past few months have been really difficult for her and it has been really sad to see her in so much pain. My grandma and grandpa were married for 53 years and are such a beautiful couple.

Growing up my grandma has always served others , owned her own beauty shop, always happy, loved to dance, loved everyone and loved life. When I was younger and we lived in Cali we went to her home and she always had a candy bowl. All of us cousins loved the candy bowl and we loved spending time with our grandparents. My grandma always looks beautiful and we called her our glamorous grams. She truly is the most amazing grandma. She loved to shop and shop and shop:). She loved to go out to lunch, loved fashion, loved her family and friends. My grandma loved life and lived life to the fulliest. Her personality was vibrant and so loving and outgoing. She loved when our family would come over and she was able to spend time with the girls.

Today was her funeral and it was so wonderful to have all the family come from California to celebrate my grandma's amazing life she lived. Today was a hard and emotional day yet I am grateful for the blessing of having my grandma in my life. My grandparents lived in Cali for over 60 years and moved to Arizona a little over 12 years ago. I am thankful over the years that we have lived close by one another and that my girls have had the blessing of knowing my grandma...they called my grams GG. I am grateful that she was able to be there a few moments after the birth of Mariyah and for so many more memories that I hold dear to my heart. Lots of pictures were taken today from lots of cameras and once I get the pictures I am going to post more about the funeral.

I am going to put together a scrapbook of my girls with my grandma so that they can remember her(GG) and all the wonderful times they have had to spend with their GG. I am grateful for my grandpa and what a strong man he is. I know this time is difficult for him and I am grateful that we live near so we can see each other often. I am thankful for Eternal Families and thankful that my grandma raised my mother to be such an incredible mother to me and an incredible grandma to my girls.

I love you grandma and thank you for all the great memories and for all that you have taught me

Avatar
For super bowl Sunday we went to our friends house and it was so much fun!!! While we watched the game the girls had fun playing with their friends and had fun with chalk:). When I first saw Mariyah she said look mom it's me Avatar!!! She drew on her face and hair with no help which I think she did a great job. She hasn't seen the movie and isn't going to til she's older but Joshua and I have so we thought it was funny. Brooklyn joined in on the fun as well and their friend Ellie wasn't to sure about the girls having blue faces.

Doesn't she look amazing

Wouldn't you be afraid of these faces too

Kinder Zoo

On Friday all the kindergarten classes dressed up as Zoo animals. Mariyah was an elephant and it was so cute to see all the "Animals". Brooklyn and I came as well as my mom and sister Lindsey. We fed Mariyah the Elephant and some of the other animals. They are learning lots about animals in school right now so it was fun to see her dressed up at the "ZOO".

Brooklyn had fun feeding her Elephant sister:)

Rya's good friend. The sun was in her eyes which didn't make her the happiest Elephant.

Cute Elephant

Even Brookie joined in on the fun:)
